Highly Qualified Teachers

School Districts employ Human Resource Information Systems to maintain basic information about teachers to manage payroll, benefits, position, location etc. However, most HR systems are not designed to maintain and process the in-depth information regarding teacher credentials, qualifications, certifications, and preferred assignments that are essential for the conversant utilization and reporting regarding the teaching staff.

The HQT module works in partnership with your existing information systems by importing teaching staff data that is currently maintained in your HR and other district information systems. The data is then extended in the iSIMS HQT application to include all other teacher information required for preparing and processing HOUSSE certifications and other reports for Federal, State, and local government agencies.

The HQT application is also used in concurrence with the iSIMS Professional e-development module for continuous staff improvement and with the iSIMS School Master Schedule module for optimum teacher placement and scheduling.
